Voter registration can be done when you get your Pennsylvania driver’s license, and voter registration forms are also available at public libraries and online.

When you register to vote in Pennsylvania, it is important to remember that we are a closed primary state.  This means, for all practical purposes, that you must be registered as a Republican or as a Democrat at least 30 days before the election in order to vote in the Primary.  For the General Election, you must be registered at least 30 days before the election, but all registered voters can vote.
